Cultivating beauty and fostering joyous feelings through thoughtfully handcrafted jewelry

A little about me...

I'm a creative type with a passion for making things with my hands and heart.  I began my metalsmithing journey in 2014 after attending a class at Peninsula School of Art in Door County Wisconsin, taught by an amazing artist, Beth Millner. I created in my home based studio in Bettendorf, Iowa for a year and a half.  I now have a brick and mortar shop in Davenport, Iowa. I LOVE my job and look forward to each new day of growing and learning in technique and design!

The jewelry ~
My handcrafted jewelry is forged from a variety of elements including metals of silver, copper, and brass (reclaimed when available), as well as gem stones. My inspiration - nature, flowers, delicate, unique, comfortable, lovely. The addition of patina is a favorite and much used technique of mine, giving pieces character and a welcoming wearable feeling.

…….but it's really all about you ~
It's important to me that your jewelry looks great on you!  That it lasts in beauty as well as quality.  To find out more about keeping your jewelry looking it's best, visit Jewelry Care on my website - miametall.com
